Cheese Fondue with Rhodes Crusty Rolls

I didn't realize how easy Rhodes crusty rolls make for a side! I took it one step further and made it even EASIER by buying a pre-packaged fondue mix.  If you are having one last Holid...

Rhodes Crusty Rolls makes a great side with cheese fondue!

It's January 1st 2014. Can you believe it? I can't. Where on earth has the time gone? I'm still wishing Christmas were here, let alone all of last year. It's amazing how quickly time passes these days. What were your plans to ring in the new year? I'll tell you, mine were none too exciting. I got caught up on Revenge (I love that show!), did a little blogging, some cleaning, a bit of organizing and de-cluttering, and laundry. Yep. That sums it up. I'm a party animal! I've had the last week and a half off work and it's been glorious. I wanted to get a few last minute things done before having to head back. Why must time off fly by so quickly? I could get used to being home all of the time. Blogging. Cooking. Exercising. That would be the life I tell ya. Back to this recipe shall we? Several times over the last couple of New Year's we've done fondue and have loved it. I didn't realize how easy Rhodes crusty rolls make for a side! I took it one step further and made it even EASIER by buying a pre-packaged fondue mix. But don't worry, if you'd like to make your own from scratch I've included the recipe below.

All you'll need is a package of the warm 'n serve crusty rolls and your cheese fondue mix. If you'd like, you can also have a number of other sides to go along with your bread. My favorites are tortellini, broccoli, pretzels, apples, and little smokies.

Warm your rolls according to the package directions. 425 for 8'ish minutes and you'll have fresh crusty bread right out of the oven. Isn't that amazing? You can't even run to the store that quickly. Boy do I love Rhodes. Makes life to much easier. Anyhoo.

Get your cheese nice and melty ooey gooey. Once it's melted completely you are ready to start dippin'. I love bread and cheese. I love bread. And I love cheese. So I suppose it's no wonder.

Once your rolls have cooled long enough to be able to handle, slice them up in to cubes, gather around your fondue pot, and enjoy!
