Berry Orange Delinght
Christmas is really sneaking up on us. I can't believe how fast it comes now that I'm an adult. It makes me long for the day when it seemed like it took forever to come!! I have been baking up a storm, using the holiday season as an excuse to go crazy in the kitchen.
There have been cookies galore, cakes, and even popcorn. But with the actual holiday right around the corner, I have started thinking about what we are going to eat on Christmas day. My family usually gets together for Christmas lunch or dinner, but I always love having a special breakfast on Christmas morning with my own little family. And the minute I bit into one of these Berry-Orange Delights, all I could think of was how perfect these would be for Christmas morning.
It really doesn't get much easier than this recipe - which is a plus when you are trying to get breakfast together amongst all of the gifts and toys - and they are just so delicious. Seriously - everyone will think that you slaved all morning for this amazing breakfast, but only you will know the true secret!! Here is just how easy they are:
All you need are Rhodes frozen Orange Rolls and a can of raspberry pie filling. And I'm really thinking that there are lots of different flavors of pie filling that would work really well here.
You'll start by taking 8 of the rolls and placing them in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
Top them with 1 cup of the pie filling. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise until the rolls have doubled.
Once the rolls have doubled, remove the plastic wrap and bake in a 350F oven for 15-20 minutes. Then top with the cream cheese icing that is included with the rolls, and you are done! Seriously, can it get any easier??
