Bee Sting Buns are delicious custard pudding filled Rhodes Bake-N-Serv™ Dinner Rolls topped with sliced almonds and caramel ice cream topping. A truly decadent dessert!

These Bee Sting Buns are delicious custard pudding filled Rhodes Bake-N-Serv™ Dinner Rolls topped with sliced almonds and caramel ice cream topping. (Traditionally Bee Sting Buns are topped with honey, but we just wanted to switch it up with caramel to make them extra rich!)

We have come up with an easy way to make these by using Rhodes Bake-N-Serv™ Dinner Rolls, ready-made vanilla pudding in snack size containers, jarred caramel ice cream topping and sliced almonds. They are not only impressive to look at, but they are a decadent dessert. The dinner rolls are soft and tender and the custard filling and caramel topping makes them ooey gooey!

Thaw and bake 8 Rhodes Bake-N-Serv™ Dinner Rolls according to the package directions. Allow to cool. When cool, slice the roll in half and use a fork to remove some of the inside of the roll, to create a little well.

Fill each roll with half of a snack-size vanilla pudding and replace the top of the roll.

Stir together the sliced almonds and caramel ice cream topping in a small dish.

Just before serving, place the custard filled roll onto a serving plate and top with the almond and caramel topping.

Ingredients

8 Rhodes Bake-N-Serv™ Dinner Rolls, baked according to directions
4 snack-size vanilla pudding cups
¼ cup sliced almonds
1/3 cup caramel ice cream topping

Instructions

Slice the baked dinner rolls in half. Using a fork, remove some of the inside of the roll to create a well for the filling. Fill the roll with ½ of the pudding from a snack-size cup into the well and replace the top. Stir together the sliced almonds and caramel ice cream topping in a small dish.

Just before serving, place the custard filled roll onto a serving plate and top with the caramel topping and sliced almonds.
