I am thrilled to be a part of Rhodes Pizza Month! At our house, Friday’s are reserved for pizza. While I occasionally make my own crust, I LOVE the convenience of using Rhodes Bake N Serv Frozen Bread Dough. Rhodes Bake N Serve White Dinner Rolls and White Bread Loaves are perfect for making any type of pizza crust. Some nights are thin and crispy, others are hand tossed, deep dish and/or dessert pizzas. Our new favorite is this Apple Pecan Dessert Pizza.

Add pecan pieces on top of apple filling..pushing pieces down lightly.

Apple Pecan Dessert Pizza
1 loaf Rhodes White Bread
1 - 28 oz can Duncan Hines Apple Pie Filling
1 cup pecan pieces
McCormick Cinnamon Sugar Grinder, optional
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup brown sugar, make your own
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3 Tablespoons margarine
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 – 1/2 teaspoons milk
Thaw loaf of Rhodes Bake N Serv White Bread
Lightly grease or flour surface, roll out dough to a 13” to 15” circle.
Prick holes in dough with fork
Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar if using.
Cover with sprayed plastic wrap for 15 minutes
Put a long handled knife in the pie filling can and dice apples.
Put dough on lightly greased 12 to 14" pizza pan, stretching to fit.
Top with diced apple pie filled, then top with pecan pieces.
Mix streusel topping and sprinkle over top. sprinkle
Cook 20 to 25 minutes in preheated 375 degree oven.
Cool on rack.
Drizzle with topping.
Keep in refrigerator.
