When I had the idea for an Apple Cinnamon Roll Bake I was originally thinking this would be a quick and easy breakfast idea… but these rich, caramelized apple and cinnamon roll treats are definitely a dessert! That’s okay! Sometimes indulging in a little dessert for breakfast is a good thing! At least that’s what my kids tell me!
Next time I make this I plan on smothering the rich apple and cinnamon roll goodness with a large scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Check out how to make this easy and delicious dessert!
Pull out your ingredients: including Rhodes Anytime Cinnamon Rolls, Green Apples, sugar, cinnamon and butter.
Dice apples into 1/2 inch chunks. Combine cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl and cover your diced apples with mixture. Mix until thoroughly coated.
Layer half the apples on the bottom.
Prep your cinnamon rolls by chopping them into 1/2 inch chunks and then layer cinnamon rolls in dish over the apples.
Add the second half of the apples to the top of your dish.
Drizzle melted butter over the top of the dish.
Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes. The rolls should be brown and the dish should look nice and caramelized! Let set for 5-10 minutes before digging in!
Top with cream cheese frosting and vanilla ice cream, if desired.
Our Apple Cinnamon Roll Bake was such a hit that we were eating seconds and thirds straight out of the casserole dish. Yum!!
