Orange Knots

Ingredients

  1. 12 Rhodes™ Dinner Rolls, thawed but still cold
  2. 1 medium orange rind, grated
  3. 1/2 cup sugar
  4. 1/4 cup butter, melted
  5. Citrus Glaze:
  6. 1 cup powdered sugar
  7. 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  8. 3 tablespoons orange juice
  9. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Mix grated orange rind with sugar.

  2. Roll each roll into a 9-inch rope.

  3. Tie in a loose knot.

  4. Roll each knot in melted butter and then in rind/sugar mixture.

  5. Place on a large sprayed baking sheet.

  6. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let double in size.

  7. Remove wrap.

  8. Bake at 350°F 15-20 minutes.

  9. Remove from pan and place on cooling rack.

  10. Brush with citrus glaze while still warm.
