Cranberry Hot Cross Buns

Ingredients

  1. 18 Rhodes™ Dinner rolls, thawed but still cold
  2. 3/4 cup dried cranberries
  3. Frosting:
  4. 1 1/3 cups powdered sugar
  5. 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon zest
  6. 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  7. 1-2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Cut 6 rolls in half.

  2. Press 1 1/2 rolls into a flat circle.

  3. Put 1 tablespoon of cranberries on roll and bring edges together, mixing berries into the dough.

  4. Shape into a round roll.

  5. Place on a large sprayed baking sheet.

  6. Repeat directions for additional rolls.

  7. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let double in size.

  8. Remove wrap and bake at 350°F 20 minutes or until golden brown.

  9. Let cool.

  10. Mix ingredients for frosting and frost rolls.
