  1. 12 Rhodes™ Dinner Rolls, thawed to room temperature
  2. 1 pound lean ground beef
  3. 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  4. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  5. 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  6. 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  7. 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  8. 1 egg, beaten
  9. sesame seeds, if desired


  1. Combine ground beef with onion, salt, pepper, chili powder and soy sauce.

  2. Mix well and shape into six 3-inch patties.

  3. Fry in skillet, turning once, until cooked.

  4. Cool on plate covered with paper towel.

  5. Combine 2 rolls and flatten into an 8-inch circle.

  6. Place meat pattie in the center of each dough circle.

  7. Pull dough up around patty to completely enclose.

  8. Pinch together to seal.

  9. Place seam side down on a large sprayed baking sheet.

  10. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with seeds, if desired.

  11. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise 15 minutes.

  12. Bake at 350°F 20 minutes or until golden brown.

  13. Serve warm with catsup or chili sauce.
