Ingredients
12 Rhodes Texas™ Rolls or 24 Rhodes Dinner Rolls, thawed but still cold
1/2 cup sugar
5 teaspoons grated lemon peel
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions
Use 1 Texas™ roll or combine 2 dinner rolls together. In a small bowl combine sugar, lemon peel and nutmeg. Dip tops of rolls in butter and then in sugar mixture. Place in sprayed muffin cups, sugar side up. Make a 1/2-inch deep cut on the top center of each roll.
Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let rise until double. Remove wrap and bake at 350°F 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pan immediately and place on cooling racks.
