Ingredients
6 Rhodes Texas™ Rolls, thawed
1 1/2 cups lettuce, shredded
1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
1/3 pound country sausage
1 tomato, chopped
3 ounces enchilada sauce
3 ounces tomato sauce
Instructions
Thaw rolls until soft and risen. Knead rolls into one ball. Brown sausage and drain off excess fat. Line clean Dutch oven with aluminum foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray. Roll dough into 14-inch circle and place in Dutch oven. Mix tomato sauce and enchilada sauce. If you like lots of spice just use straight enchilada sauce. Spread sauce on pizza; top with sausage. Bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from heat and sprinkle on cheddar cheese followed by shredded lettuce and tomatoes.
Other suggested garnishes are chopped jalapeno pepper, sliced avocados, olives, and dabs of sour cream.
