Ingredients
1 loaf Rhodes™ White, Italian, or Wheat bread dough, thawed
2 green peppers, chopped
2 tomatoes, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
1 1/4 cup, cut up meat (salami, pepperoni, or sausage, cooked and drained)
1 teaspoon Italian herbs (oregano, basil or marjoram)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
softened butter or margarine
sesame seeds
Instructions
Lightly brown green pepper, tomato and onion. Add meat, herbs, and salt. Cook 5 minutes over low heat. Drain; cool. Divide dough into three equal parts. Roll each part into a rectangle, 10x7-inches, on floured surface. Place rectangle on sprayed baking sheet. Spread with half of green pepper mixture, sprinkle with half of the mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Top with second rectangle, repeat. Stretch third rectangle slightly; place on top. Pinch edges together to seal. Brush with butter, sprinkle with sesame seeds. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap, let rise in warm place 1 hour. Remove wrap and bake at 350°F until deep golden brown - 40 to 45 minutes. Cut into slices, serve!
