Upside Down Pizza

A delicious topsy turvey twist on an old pizza idea.

Ingredients

  1. 6 Rhodes Texas™ Rolls or 9 Rhodes™ Dinner Rolls, thawed and risen
  2. 1-pound ground beef
  3. 1 onion, chopped
  4. 15 ounces pizza sauce
  5. 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  6. 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
  7. 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  8. 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Combine rolls and roll into a 9x13-inch rectangle.

  2. Cover with plastic wrap and let rest.

  3. Brown ground beef and onion.

  4. Drain off fat.

  5. Blend in pizza sauce, garlic salt, and oregano.

  6. Spread in the bottom of a sprayed 9x13-inch pan.

  7. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.

  8. Remove wrap from dough and place dough over meat mixture in pan to completely cover.

  9. Cut a small slit in the dough to vent steam.

  10. Sprinkle with Parmesan and bake at 350°F 25-30 minutes.
