Ingredients

2 or 3 Rhodes Texas™ rolls, thawed but still cold
1 egg, beaten

Instructions

Join rolls together and with your fingers or a rolling pin, press them into a flat circle or oval. Make the dough large enough for the leaf pattern to fit on it. Lay the pattern on the dough and cut around it with a knife. Slice veins deeply into the leaf. Roll a small piece of extra dough into a short, skinny rope for the stem of the leaf. Attach at the base of the leaf. Discard or tuck and flatten the remaining dough pieces evenly under the backside of the leaf.

Place on a sprayed baking sheet. Brush with egg and let rise for 30 minutes. Bake at 350°F for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
