Peaches and Cream Bread

Ingredients

  1. 12 Rhodes™ Dinner Rolls, thawed and risen
  2. 1 3-ounces cream cheese
  3. 2 tablespoons sugar
  4. 2 teaspoons flour
  5. 1 egg yolk
  6. 1 teaspoon vanilla
  7. 1 15-oz can sliced peaches drained or 2-3 ripe fresh peaches (peeled and sliced)
  8. Topping:
  9. 1 cup sour cream
  10. 3 tablespoons sugar
  11. 1 teaspoon vanilla
  12. fresh peach slices, if desired

Instructions

  1. Press 6 rolls together and roll into a 10-inch circle.

  2. Place in a 9-inch sprayed springform pan.

  3. Beat together cream cheese, 2 tablespoons sugar, flour, egg yolk, and vanilla.

  4. Spread evenly over dough.

  5. Arrange peaches evenly over cream cheese mixture.

  6. Press remaining 6 rolls together and roll to a 10-inch circle.

  7. Place over peaches.

  8. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap.

  9. Let rise until double.

  10. Remove wrap and bake at 350°F for 15 minutes.

  11. With a sharp knife, make several slits in top layer.

  12. Bake an additional 15-20 minutes.

  13. Combine topping ingredients.

  14. Spread over baked bread and continue baking for 10 minutes.

  15. Cook completely and garnish with fresh peaches if desired.
