  • Can I find Rhodes in Canada?

    Rhodes Bake-N-Serv is no longer available in Canada. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you. Rhodes does supply Safeway Canada with frozen bread and roll dough.

  • Are Rhodes products healthy?

    Yes, Rhodes frozen dough is made with the highest quality ingredients to our specifications. Since it is frozen, no preservatives are needed or used in any of the dough products (a preservative is used in the Cream Cheese frosting as a mold inhibitor, all other products contain no preservatives). In addition, Rhodes 100% Whole Wheat Texas Rolls and Wheat Bread are high in fiber. All Rhodes products use unbleached, high protein flour.

  • What is the difference between frozen dough and refrigerated dough?

    Flavor: Rhodes bread and rolls are made with only the highest quality ingredients including fresh yeast. Fresh yeast has a slightly sweet, full taste. However, yeast will rise even in refrigeration. Thus, true yeast dough must be solidly frozen until ready to use. Fortunately, freezing not only makes the yeast inactive, but preserves the dough's freshness making it possible for us to leave out preservatives and produce bread that tastes as good as homemade.

    Aroma: The yeast and other ingredients in frozen dough create the wonderful aroma. Of course, the cinnamon rolls have their own unique aroma that always draws a crowd.

    Texture: Yeast risen dough has the perfect texture that every home baker desires.

  • Storing Rhodes bread, rolls or cinnamon rolls in your refrigerator will increase the shelf life from several days to over a week.

  • Can I store baked bread or rolls in the freezer?

    Yes, Baked bread and rolls may be stored in freezer bags for up to 3 months with excellent results. Baked bread may be thawed in the microwave uncovered on HIGH for 50 – 70 seconds. Baked Rolls may be thawed in the microwave uncovered on HIGH for 20 - 30 seconds. Baked bread or rolls may be thawed on a countertop for 1 – 2 hours while still in the freezer bag. If there is excess moisture in the freezer bag due to frost accumulation, a paper towel may be wrapped around the bread or rolls to absorb excess moisture.

  • How do I get the best Performance from the AnyTime Rolls.

    For maximum size - allow the cinnamon, orange, or caramel rolls to thaw for 30 - 60 minutes before baking. You will need to reduce the bake time 5 - 10 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 - 25 minutes.

  • Is Rhodes dough kosher?

    Here are the common kosher questions about Rhodes dough:

    1. Is Challah taken? The answer is no, challah is not taken.

    2. Does Rhodes have any products cerified for passover? No, all Rhodes products contain a leavening agent.

    3. Rhodes Cinnamon Rolls are Kosher Dairy. How about the cinnamon rolls by themselves? Rhodes AnyTime and traditional Cinnamon Rolls do not contain any dairy ingredients and are kosher pareve without the cream cheese frosting. The 60 second rolls contain dairy ingredients.
