Waffle Sandwiches
Tue, Aug 21 2012
I recently discovered one of my family's new favorite quick meals, waffle sandwiches. They are really easy to make, they taste great and everyone gets to choose their favorite toppings.
Rhodes Waffle Sandwiches
12 thawed Rhodes Rolls
Peanut butter, jam, or honey
Or for a savory sandwich
Ham, turkey, chicken, tuna, bacon, tomatoes, cheese, lettuce . . . . Oh' MY!
Flatten each roll in to a 4 to 5 inch circle. Using non-stick cooking spray, spray the preheated waffle iron. Place a flattened roll in the middle of the waffle iron and close the lid.
Cook each roll for 1-2 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove the waffle and spread with your favorite topping. We really liked peanut butter and for a sweeter taste, honey butter.

Fun for school lunches, picnics, parties, afterschool snacks.
Enjoy!
