Donuts are a classic. A favorite. A delight! Why not take them to another level and fill them with a light lemon curd and fresh raspberries?! Are you in? Great, I thought so! Get your Rhodes White Dinner Rolls out and let's begin.....
Thaw Rhodes White Dinner Rolls and let rise.
Using cookie cutter(s), cut dough into desired size(s). Cover with sprayed plastic and let rise until puffed.
Top with remaining donut slice, berries and a sprinkling of powdered sugar.
Lemon Raspberry Filled Valentine Donuts

Ingredients
6 Rhodes White Dinner Rolls, thaw and rise
4 oz. cream cheese, soft
1/3 cup lemon curd .. or to taste
1/4 cup sugar .. or to taste
1 cup Cool Whip, thawed
1 cup raspberry pie filling
1 pint fresh raspberries
powdered sugar
Instructions
Place rolls on a sprayed plate and cover with sprayed plastic wrap...thaw and let rise.
Roll dinner rolls out to fit desired size cookie cutter and cut.
Place on parchment lined baking sheet.
Let rise until doubled.
Heat to medium, 2 inches oil in small saucepan or skillet.
Fry dough 10 to 15 seconds on each side...turn carefully!
Place on paper towels to drain and cool.
Whisk together cream cheese, lemon curd and sugar.
Fold in Cool Whip and set aside.
Fold raspberries into pie filling saving some for garnish.
Slice donuts in half with a serrated knife.
12. Top bottom with 1/6 lemon curd.
13. Top lemon curd with raspberry pie filling.
14. Put remaining donut top on, add raspberries and dust with powdered sugar.
