Baked Hot Dogs on a Stick

If you are looking for a fun and easy meal for your children, look no further. These Baked Hot Dogs on a Stick are so easy to make and your kids will have fun eating them. My son loved helping me make our hot dogs.

You will need:
Rhodes Dinner Rolls, thawed
hot dogs
1 egg
wooden skewers
sesame seeds (optional)

First you will need to cut your hot dogs in half.

Next insert a wooden skewer into each hot dog half.

Roll one dinner roll into a 12 inch rope. The thinner the rope the better.
Start at one end of the hot dog and wrap the dough around the hot dog half. Make sure to tuck the dough ends under so they wont lift during baking.

Repeat for desired amount.

Place hot dogs on a baking sheet. I like to place parchment paper under my hot dogs.
Beat the egg and brush on each hot dog. Sprinkle on sesame seeds (optional).

Bake at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Serve with mustard, ketchup or favorite dip.
Enjoy!
